The Protein Society is the leading international society devoted to furthering research and development in protein science. The purpose of the Society is to provide international forums to facilitate communication, cooperation and collaboration with respect to all aspects of the study of proteins. The Society sponsors annual international symposia and co-sponsors meetings and workshops with sister societies in the globally, as well as publishing the scientific journal Protein Science.The Protein Society is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization that was founded in 1986 to consolidate the knowledge and experience of a global community of protein scientists and to explore all aspects of the building blocks of life: protein molecules.
