small non-profit organization established in 2013, is quickly becoming a local
leader in providing mindfulness programs to students, parents and educators in
DC/MD/VA school systems. MINDS, which began with a small seed grant of
$15,000 and a great idea, has already reached close to 16,000 individuals in
more than 35 public, public charter, and private school in the DC area.
