About us

Children of the Earth is amping up the volume and we are looking for young passionate graduates to assist us to build an international infrastructure of consciously inspired change-makers. Become part of an international team working to develop structures and processes that will enable youth from around the world to reflect, connect and act. A spiritually inspired organisation, we invite all religions and ways of being into the global conversation of co-creative solution-making for the challenges we face. Internship positions available as from 28th March 2014

Research & Administration

Tasks/Duties

  • Research and co-produce strategic documents
  • Communicate with stakeholders from around the world
  • Liaise with Marketing and Program Development regarding delivery of new content on social media platforms, website and email
  • Manage project management tools such as Basecamp and Podio
  • Perform administrative duties such as diary management, scheduling meetings, proposal and report writing, creating digital presentations, etc.

Content & Program Development

Tasks/Duties

  • žResearch and develop opportunities for young people to become change-makers
  • Liaise with the current chapter leaders from around the world and identify what support they need
  • Research innovative cutting edge methodologies for youth workshops
  • Develop better ways for young people to interact on the website
  • Liaise with Marketing and Administration regarding delivery of new content on social media platforms, website and email.
  • Perform administrative duties such as diary management, scheduling meetings, attending meetings, proposal writing, creating digital presentations, etc.

Marketing & Branding

Tasks/Duties

  • Evolve the COE brand
  • Oversee, manage and develop strategies for social media platforms, email marketing and search engine marketing
  • Fine-tune the communications and develop a press release for the organisation and its programs
  • Seek marketing opportunities, alliances and collaborations that will position the Children of the Earth brand as a leader in its field
  • Manage project management tools such as Basecamp and Podio
  • Perform administrative duties such as diary management, scheduling meetings, attending meetings, report writing, creating digital presentations, etc.

We are looking for grounded, reliable and detail-orientated individuals who are creative and savvy spirits that are willing to buckle down and help create and drive a strategic plan. We want you to put the skills you gained in your degree to good use, doing research, communicating with people from around the world and doing what it takes to create value within the organisation. All this, while bringing a fresh, intuitive and impactful approach, bringing your genius to the fore.

Requirements

  • Strong research abilities
  • Passionate about creativity, innovation and walking a spiritual path of some kind
  • Excellent communication skills (telephonic and professional email writing)
  • Able to communicate complex ideas with structure and clarity
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Meticulous, attention to detail
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and personal laptop a must
