Home Repair Resource Center

Home Repair Resource Center (HRRC) is a nonprofit organization established in 1971. From the beginning, our mission has been to foster diverse and sustainable neighborhoods through well-maintained homes. HRRC pursues that mission through a multi-faceted program mix with multiple entry points: financial education and counseling; grants and loan guarantees that make financing repairs more affordable; hands-on repair classes; tool loan; and educational resources and contractor evaluations from local homeowners. Our original service area was Cleveland Heights, but HRRC now opens most of our services to homeowners throughout Northeast Ohio. HRRC strives to ensure our programming addresses the ever-changing needs of our citizens. Our housing counseling program is an important tool to help us carry out our mission because it provides the essential educational foundation for responsible homeownership, financial literacy. Financial education is critical to keeping households safe and healthy and communities viable.
