Isabel's House Crisis Nursery

At Isabel’s House, our mission is simple but powerful: to prevent child abuse and neglect.

We provide a safe, loving place for children when their families face a crisis. Our trained Child Advocates offer 24/7/365 care, while Family Advocates partner with parents and caregivers to build personalized plans that help restore stability and hope. Every service we provide is designed to strengthen families and keep kids safe--because every child deserves a secure, nurturing home.

Isabel's House began with a Simple Belief: every child deserves safety, stability, and care during life's hardest moments.

In the early 2000s, the Junior League of Springfield began exploring how to best serve the greatest areas of need in the community. Through research, interviews, and collaboration with community leaders, a clear and urgent issue emerged—child abuse and neglect prevention. In April 2005, the Junior League of Springfield (JLS) committed its resources, volunteer hours, and advocacy efforts toward preventing child abuse and neglect.
