Rainbow City Performing Arts fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for musical expression that inspires, empowers, and celebrates diversity. By centering LGBTQIA+ visibility and inclusion, we aim to build community, promote equity, and uplift marginalized voices through the power of the arts.

Rainbow City Performing Arts is a vibrant community of musicians and performers dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where everyone can thrive. Since 1998, we’ve been providing opportunities for musicians of all backgrounds, incomes, and abilities to come together, share their talents, and grow in a welcoming environment.
Our organization features seven performance ensembles and many more small ones, ranging from marching band to orchestra, jazz ensemble, sports band, and chamber groups. We are proud to blend the joy of music with a strong social justice mission, prioritizing works by artists from historically marginalized communities and using our platform to amplify diverse voices.
Through partnerships with local nonprofits, youth-focused efforts, and educational programs, we actively promote equity and community engagement. Whether performing at Pride events, collaborating with local schools, or raising funds for essential causes, Rainbow City strives to make a lasting impact. Our members and audiences alike are united by a shared passion for community, music, and a more inclusive future.
