Center for Change: a Northern Michigan Advocacy Group

Our mission is to inspire, educate and empower our neighbors for collective and progressive advocacy. 

We are a registered 501(c)4 organization focused on non-partisan education and advocacy. Our team’s shared purpose is to catalyze progressive change in our communities around issues of local significance, based on deep conversations with neighbors — especially those who have traditionally been marginalized by the political process. We will inspire and empower our neighbors through education, outreach, and coalition building to advocate for a sustainable Northern Michigan.

Meetings with our neighbors might include tabling at a local pub, high school sporting event, county fair, art fair, concert venue, college campus, or at a community fundraiser. We hope to offer our advocacy to people in need, and partner with our neighbors to help advance their needs as well as our own.
