Middlesex Community College

Founded in 1970, Middlesex is the largest community college in Massachusetts. Our campuses are situated in downtown Lowell on the bank of the Merrimack River and on a 200-acre site in the suburban town of Bedford.

We offer many paths to higher education, including 76 degree and certificate programs, hundreds of noncredit courses, career training, online courses and programs, and bachelor’s degree completion programs with Salem State and Fitchburg State colleges. To meet the diverse needs of our students, classes are scheduled during the day and evening, on weekends, and online.

The college has also developed remarkable partnerships with many schools, businesses, government agencies and social service groups. These unique collaborative alliances have achieved compelling results.
