The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army’s Family Caring Center’s targeted population consists of street homeless families with or without children. Street homeless families include single women with children, couples with or without children and single fathers with children. Family Caring Center strives to strengthen and aid homeless families so that they may obtain safe and affordable housing and prevent such occurrences in the future.
