Missão
Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue (KKHR) serves cats of all ages through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption into loving homes. We do this by taking in abandoned cats and kittens via stray surrender, owner surrender, intake from high-kill shelters, and TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) efforts. We provide veterinary care, temporary housing (in our cage-free brick-and-mortar facility and network of foster homes), and adoption into qualified forever homes. We return spayed/neutered feral cats to their colonies and provide ongoing colony care. We believe that every life is precious and deserving of safety, dignity, and love. We do not give up on the animals in our care. We endeavor to give them every chance to heal and live long, happy lives.

Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue is a no-kill, no-cage haven for rescued kitties with less than a 3% loss rate due to illness or injury. We are based in Hoover, Alabama and primarily serve Metro-Birmingham along with surrounding counties. We are an all-volunteer (no paid staff), registered 501c3 not-for-profit animal rescue since May of 2017. Since 2017, KKHR has rescued over 6500 cats and kittens in need. During this time, we have adopted over 6000 into loving homes and provided TNVR support for another 200+. Over 300 cats and kittens are currently in our care awaiting adoption.
