Founded in 1976, the Friends of the Commission on the Status of Women (Friends) in San Francisco is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation specifically founded and operated to raise awareness of and funding for the San Francisco Commission and Department on the Status of Women.
Sobre Nós
We promote programs that ensure equal treatment of women and girls and socioeconomic, political and educational advancement through policies, legislation, and initiatives especially for women and girls in need. We organize events in the community to raise awareness to stop violence against women, eliminate human trafficking and promote gender equality.
