Sheba USA, Queens based 501(c)3 non-profit organization is helping new immigrants to identify and understand the needs of the new immigrants and low income populations and then assist them solving the problems of assimilation in a new culture with a special focus on empowering women.

Our snowball research indicates that there are significant numbers of new immigrants facing obstacles finding employment in NYC. In addition, overwhelming numbers of South Asian women are affected by domestic violence. Therefore, our mission is to empower South Asian women in their pressing needs though education, training and employment in our community.

It is our sincere intention to extend and expand Sheba’s activities, collaborating with other public and private organizations to provide humanitarian, social and educational assistance.
