Groundwork Northeast Revitalization Group (GWNRG) is a nonprofit 501©3 organization in Northeast Kansas City, KS. GWNRG’s mission is to sustain and revitalize our beloved Northeast KCK community through forward-looking and inclusive action rooted in the principles of equity, community cohesion, institutional transparency, and environmental justice. Our growing organization seeks to hire people who have past, present, or future ties to Northeast KCK or other frontline communities. An idea candidate demonstrates an excellence in their work, an eagerness to expand their skillset, and personal and professional goals that align with our mission. Our internal operations promote autonomous work, collaborative decision making, and finding practical ways to un-learn the culture of colonialism and learn new ways of mutual care for each other, our community, and the land.
