A Better Chance (ABC) is a national nonprofit whose mission is to increase substantially the number of well-educated young people of color who are capable of assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in American society. The Madison A Better Chance chapter was established in 1970 and is a Community Schools Program (CSP) that provides up to 6 academically talented, male, minority students the opportunity to attend Daniel Hand High School.
