The Kids First Fund affirms its overall strategic direction to align grant activities in Latvia, Moldova, the Oglala Lakota and Sicangu Lakota Nations. The focus areas for the Kids First Fund are the following: 1) Child abuse prevention, 2) Educational programming, 3) Geographic focus in impoverished rural areas (such as Latgale in Latvia), and 4) Projects that show promise for future self-funding, or which have a defined end date. We provide grants to partner organizations in our designated grant areas. KFF operates as an all-volunteer organization with zero salary, administration, and fundraising expense.
Since 1999 (through 2021) the Kids First Fund has generated revenue of $724,142 and has spent $605,661 on grants for program work. This has been accomplished with zero expenditure on expenses of any kind, to include salaries and fundraising.
