Humanity For those we serve, we commit to building relationships with humility. We do not know the paths they’ve walked or the traumas they’ve endured, and we honor their sacred stories.

Stewardship We are intentional in the way we steward the resources allotted to us, from our earth to our donations.

Advocacy We stand in the gap for those who cannot stand up for themselves or their own, in order to build stronger families, individuals, and community.

Take the Next Step (TTNS) is a grass roots, faith based nonprofit organization and our mission is to empower our Sky Valley neighbors with advocacy, help, and hope. We treat each of our neighbors with respect as we value and recognize the worth of everyone. We believe with encouragement, help, and connection to resources, every person can begin to take their own next steps.

We take seriously our responsibility to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We work hard to be effective and efficient in all we do so most of our resources will benefit the most vulnerable in our community. Servant leadership and collaboration are essential in relationships with staff, volunteers, donors, and partner organizations. Because we believe we are here to serve and not to be served, each one of us is sometimes called upon to roll up our sleeves and perform tasks outside our job description and even our comfort zone.
