Missão
Cards are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts. An uplifting card can be a game-changer for a disheartened, hospitalized child; just the act of making them a card can give them hope during a difficult time. This one belief guides us in everything we do at Cards for a Cause. It inspires us to make inspiring cards for children going through so much. It’s the founding principle of our vision to deliver comfort and encouragement to thousands of children facing serious illness.
Sobre Nós
Cards for a Cause has created, collected, and distributed over thousands of cards to hospitals and sick patients all over the United States. Cards for a Cause traces its inspiration to Zachary Heacox. Zach’s inspiration for founding Cards for a Cause comes from his own experiences, more than anything else, his past experiences at the American Family Children’s Hospital. After many tests, in 2019, he underwent surgery to resolve some of the problems. This instance made an immense impact on Zach and is one of the main reasons he started making cards for sick and injured children; in order to help children that are less fortunate than himself and help put a smile on their face.
