RESNA is the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America, an interdisciplinary association of people with a common interest in technology and disability. The goal of the organization is to seek to improve the functional limitations of individuals with disabilities through the use of assistive technology. To that end, RESNA promotes research and development, education, advocacy and the provision of assistive technology while at the same time supporting the individuals engaged in these activities.
RESNA’s membership consists of individuals and institutions covering a range of disciplines. These members include researchers, clinicians, suppliers, manufacturers, consumers and educators who work in non-profit and for-profit settings. All members are dedicated to promoting the exchange of ideas and information for the advancement of assistive technology.
