The Exploris School

The Exploris School is a k-8 charter school that engages students in a rigorous, relevant, relationship-based education. This is done through experiential, project-based learning that empowers students to build a connected, just and sustainable world.

Exploris was founded on the principles of Global Education – the interconnectedness of people across the globe. We maintain an atmosphere of academic rigor and personal accountability. Instruction is presented in an age appropriate, interdisciplinary, thematic, and practical manner. Community involvement through service learning is an integral part of the Exploris K-8 experience.

Collaboration is an essential part of our work. Teachers work on co-teaching teams, planning integrated lessons, flexibly grouping to differentiate instruction, using standards-based measures to assess student progress, and using responsive practices to get to know students well.
