Founded by 5x New York Emmy® Award-winning experiential producer and global transformer Marcelle Lashley-Kaboré, our work thrives at the intersection of economic equity, cultural empowerment, and experiential education. Through culturally responsive financial literacy, we equip youth—particularly Black and Brown youth—with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build generational wealth and break cycles of poverty shaped by systemic inequities.
Our project-based learning model integrates social activism, civic engagement, and personal wellness—because we believe true wealth extends beyond money. It includes the health of our minds, bodies, communities, and collective futures. By addressing the root causes of the racial wealth gap, we empower youth to lead movements, launch ventures, and live with purpose.
Led by lived-experience educators and rooted in real-world practice, our programs are relatable, engaging, and transformative. At GWK, we don’t just teach youth how to earn—we teach them how to own, heal, and lead.
