ABOUT AVPRIDE: At AVPRIDE, our mission is to empower youth to make informed and healthy decisions that result in resiliency and success as conscious, productive, and contributing societal leaders. AVPRIDE collaborates with the greater Fayette County community to make strategic partnerships that serve students and their families while addressing academic achievement, healthy behavior choices, and post-secondary opportunities.
AVPRIDE believes healthy families contribute to resilient youth. For this reason, AVPRIDE has spearheaded substance abuse prevention activities for nearly 20 years in Fayette & Coweta Counties. Our program goals are to develop strong and sustainable community coalitions while reducing teen substance abuse across the county.
