WCDC is a non-profit neighborhood-based community development agency with the mission of improving the economic and social well-being of the Woodlawn Community in the City of Pawtucket, RI, with the emphasis on low-income residents, by empowering them through education, training, advocacy, and innovation. Strategic areas include economic development, health, education, environment, neighborhood revitalization, and civic engagement/leadership. The WCDC owns and operates the Woodlawn Community Center collaborating with a diverse set of community residents and agencies to develop programs and services which meet the needs of a diverse population.
