Critical Exposure

Critical Exposure works with Black and Brown youth to transform DC communities and schools into safe, resource-connected places that are liberated from social, political, and economic barriers. We do this through youth organizing, storytelling, and leveraging the power of photography.

Critical Exposure is a training ground and organizing home for Black and Brown youth. We use photo storytelling to train, amplify, and mobilize DC youth to build their collective power.

Critical Exposure envisions communities that are liberated, safe, and supportive for young people of Washington, DC, to dream, learn, grow, and thrive.
