The Jewish Historical Society of New Jersey, located in Whippany NJ on the Alex Aidekman Jewish Community Campus provides unique volunteer opportunities for individuals who are interested in local and New Jersey Jewish history, enjoy research, are computer fluent, able to scan, have strong writing skills, and can devote a minimum of three hours per visit. Volunteers assist the JHS archivist and curator. It is important that volunteers have access to a car as the JHS is not near public transportation.
