JEN is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit, non-partisan and non-sectarian organization that exists to assist those who have been stricken with hardship due to conflicts and disasters in restoring self-supporting livelihoods both economically and mentally. JEN has operated in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Chechen, and former Yugoslav countries since 1994. JEN has worked in Afghanistan since 2001 on projects related to humanitarian relief, health/hygiene education, rehabilitation and construction.
