Maisha Children’s Ministry aims to provide a safe and permanent home for orphaned and vulnerable children. Our immediate goal is to continue offering daily support, including food, clothing, and healthcare, while raising funds for our permanent home project. With the new facility, we will be able to provide more holistic care, ensuring that these children not only survive but thrive in a nurturing environment. We envision a future where Maisha Children’s Ministry will have its own land, clinic, and school to further support and uplift the children and the community.

Maisha Children’s…
Maisha Children’s Ministry is a not-for-profit organization based in Uganda, passionately dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged and vulnerable children. We serve as a beacon of hope for children who face the harsh realities of poverty, neglect, and abandonment. Our mission is rooted in love, unity, and compassion—guiding each child toward a future filled with purpose and possibility.
We currently care for 50 children, offering them essential support including food, clothing, healthcare, education, and a safe, nurturing environment they can call home. Our long-term vision is to construct a permanent facility that includes a residential home, a school, and a clinic to support the holistic development of these children and reach even more in need.
Beyond childcare, we also lead outreach initiatives that uplift entire communities. Our Women Outreach Program empowers adolescent girls and women through reproductive health education, trauma counseling, menstrual hygiene support, and pregnancy services. Additionally, we organize Back-to-School and X-Mas Charity Campaigns, which provide educational materials and festive aid to children, families, and the elderly living in poverty.
Our values are deeply anchored in compassion, dignity, and empowerment. We believe that what we do for one, we do for all—because every life touched brings light to the whole community. We serve not only children but also women, mothers, and families in need—working together to build stronger, more resilient futures.
