Melodies in Mind, Inc.

Melodies in Mind is a dementia-friendly chorus whose mission is to create and share the joy of making music together, defying dementia myths. Through a 10-week program of weekly rehearsals, culminating in a public concert, we renew self-confidence, build new relationships, and share our joy with the community.

We serve The Villages and surrounding communities in central Florida. Chorus members are singers with dementia, their caregivers and volunteer singers from other local groups. Melodies in Mind is an all volunteer organization led by professionals with choral music and dementia care experience.
