Women's Aid Organisation

Women’s Aid Organisation is the main domestic violence focused shelter, re-integration and case management service provider in Malaysia. We also have high recognition for our advocacy work to strengthen state policy and women's access to state protection, enhance community awareness of domestic violence, the root cases of violence against women and promotion of gender equality. Our core work is supporting women through the challenge of evolving from victims of domestic violence into empowered survivors. Our next phase of development is to strengthen the capacity of community structures and community members to recognise, respond to, and thereby prevent domestic violence.
