he Free Foundation Ghana in an effort to provide health services, awareness and infrastructure to the people of Akotokyir village and other surrounding communities in Cape Coast. It is due to their compassion for the less privileged and the belief that everyone is entitled to be healthy and obtain medical care, that this foundation was formed. We also want to bridge the gap between the healthy and unhealthy and also help them live a healthy lifestyle. We therefore undertook a survey in Akotokyir to ask them about the challenges they face. It was due to our results that we decided to hold a 3 day health programme for them.
