Act Together Ministries

Act Together Ministries is a Christ-centered organization determined to change the plight of children living in distress in the North Atlanta area. Providing for a child's needs, enriching their lives, and showing Christ's love during their time of distress will allow these children to lead productive lives. We seek to minimize the long term effects of their current situation.

What do we do?

We support children in distress by: Providing for children's basic needs (directly and through partnerships with other organizations) By filling in the gaps and giving children the opportunity to experience the joys of childhood. Offering programs and events to meet these children's needs and to love on them. We strengthen existing families by: Offering programs and events to strengthen family bonds. Lessening the stress families feel when raising a special needs child, when a spouse is away at war, or when finances are so tight it’s difficult to provide for basic needs. Providing opportunities for families to serve together. We inspire the next generation to serve by: Providing service projects that are child friendly. Providing opportunities for children to see the results of their efforts. Making giving and serving fun and attractive to young people. Goals of the Ministry: Some families carry a heavier burden than others, Act Together Ministries seeks to come along side these families and help carry the burden as the Bible calls us to do. Our ministry is nondenominational and serves as the Body of Christ “Acting Together” to meet the needs of children in our community.
