Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County, VA

The world’s economy says we cannot sell homes to low-income families because we can’t charge enough to be monetarily profitable, and have it still be affordable to the families. God’s economy says we CAN, when communities of people come together to support the building of the homes and the financing of the zero-percent interest mortgages. When we work together there is more than enough and the profits are abundant:

• The profits are children succeeding in school and thriving at home.  
• The profits are parents who are able to enjoy and take pride in their homes. 
• The profits are women and men with disabilities maneuvering freely and safely inside their accessible homes.  
• The profits are Habitat partner families paying off their mortgages, and then continuing to donate to Habitat monthly to support the dream of homeownership for other families.
