Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West

Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West (HFHSTW) provides exceptional services to ensure that low to moderate income families in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, have the opportunity for homeownership and asset-building by bringing people together to build homes, community, and hope. For 39 years, we have been offering a hand up to low-income families, giving them hope of breaking the multi-generational poverty cycle. Through extensive pre-purchase counseling, financial and homebuyer education, post-purchase support, and other services, HFHSTW provides the opportunity for individuals and families to live in safe, healthy homes and communities that create space for positive physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being. Since 1981, HFHSTW has built 284 homes, and completed renovations and repairs to the homes of over 200 families. We have an affiliate office and ReStore retail operation in Mandeville, Louisiana. We build homes in Abita Springs, Covington, Folsom, Madisonville, Mandeville, and unincorporated areas of western St. Tammany Parish.
