We maintain a low student/faculty ratio and offer 16 rigorous Advanced Placement courses as well as extensive Arts and Service Learning programs. All second grade students receive Suzuki violin instruction, and all Middle School students take Chinese, French, or Spanish.
Our Upper School students’ SAT scores are the highest in South Jersey by a significant margin. All MFS graduates matriculate at four-year institutions, with very limited exceptions, and we have an exceptionally personalized College Guidance program.
Founded in 1785, MFS is home to 730 students representing over 60 school districts within a 50-mile radius of Moorestown. Nearly one-third of MFS students in Grades 1-12 receive financial aid.
We are committed to fostering an environment that is both diverse and inclusive. Thirty-seven percent of our students are students of color. A wide variety of religious faiths are represented as well. In keeping with the Quaker philosophy of honoring each individual, students representing different ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds are challenged daily to respect and learn from one another.
Varsity and Junior Varsity sports include: baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, fencing, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and swimming.
The school is located on 48 acres in the heart of Moorestown.
