Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti

Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti (JJVS), Udaipur, India is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focusing on the socio-economic improvements of the rural and tribal communities in Rajasthan, India. "Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti" means an 'Association Dedicated to Social Awareness and Public Development'.

Founded in 1985, JJVS was created to work in the tribal villages of Southern Rajasthan for the improvement of health as well as social and economic development of backward communities. Today, the Rajasthan-based NGO has gained an international presence and continues to expand its impact all over India.

JJVS acts as a catalyst, coordinator and facilitator of community participation in developing solutions to community problems. A major part of the NGO's work is the promotion of Traditional Systems of Medicine through the capacity building and support of local rural health workers. JJVS also conducts projects in Rural Development, Agriculture, Microfinance, Women's Empowerment and Environment Conservation.
