PHP’s programs include: Basic Needs (Food Program, with distribution sites in Solvang and Los Alamos and Emergency Services, including rental and utilities assistance); Health Care Access (Community Action Resource Team providing Healthy Families and Med-Cal enrollments, health care vouchers, Children’s Dental Program, personal counseling; Early Childhood Mental Health Counseling); Family Support (Family Resource Centers, parent education, child abuse and domestic violence prevention, Christmas Fulfill-A-Wish), and Youth Programs (Buellton After School Program, Workforce Development, Valley Youth Coalition). PHP also operates a Thrift Store that provides clothing and household items to needy families and helps support the cost of programs and services.
