LWV - CAPITOL INFORMATION AND TOURS MISSION

Capitol Information and Tours educates citizens about state government through tours of the Legislative Office Building and State Capitol, publication distribution, and the staffing of two information desks.It also provides positive public relations for the Connecticut General Assembly and the State and encourages tourists to visit other Hartford sites.

The League of Women Voters of Connecticut Education Fund, Inc. operates Capitol Information and Tours. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, nonprofit political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government
