Kindred Hospice provides an individualized program of physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical care for people of all ages in the last phases of a life-limiting illness, with an emphasis on control of pain and other symptoms. The program is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring that emphasizes comfort and dignity for the dying, making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible and in familiar surroundings. Patients live throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma Counties. Hospice care is centered on both the patient and family. Hospice personnel respect and respond to the unique differences in family , lifestyle, culture, values and wishes.

Some of our proudest moments are when our reputation allows us opportunities to serve for both patients and families in their most challenging and intimate times of their lives. Currently, we have over 130 patients in our care. They are surrounded by a team of passionate professionals willing to go the extra mile to ensure that patients maintain quality of life and complete their journey in love, peace and comfort.
