Austin Partners in Education

Austin Partners in Education (APIE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving college and career readiness through individualized academic and mentoring programs to prepare students for success. We serve Austin ISD middle and high school students.

The following programs are currently in need of volunteers:

• Middle School Math Classroom Coaching: Volunteers meet weekly with small groups of students during math class to help increase students' understanding of math. Volunteer involvement increases students' engagement and their academic self-confidence.
• Secondary Mentoring: Volunteers dedicate an hour out of their week to provide one-on-one support at a student’s school. Mentors positively impact students by helping them deal with day-to-day challenges, develop social-emotional skills, and improve their educational experience.
