Who We Are

Our cornerstone program is the Ronald McDonald House that serves as a “Home away from home” for families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at area hospitals.

Our other core programs include the Ronald McDonald Family Room, a “Haven in the hospital” for families with children receiving treatment at St. Joseph’s/Candler and Memorial Hospitals and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile that provides under-served children with free dental examinations and preventive treatment.

What We Do

To create, find, and support programs that directly enhance the well-being of children and families. Provide temporary lodging for the families of seriously ill children being treated at local area hospitals. Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire assists in improving the well-being of children and their families by effectively operating the House to meet their immediate needs and by supporting other community-based programs.
