At RealNetworks Foundation we strive to help create better local and national communities. When RealNetworks, Inc. went public in November of 1997, the company committed to donating five percent of its annual net income to charitable organizations upon attaining sustained profitability, which it first achieved in the second quarter of 2000. To date, this set-aside has amounted to nearly $2.7 million for charity. Since late 2000, the Foundation has been regularly distributing these funds to charitable organizations through a range of philanthropic programs
