Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle

Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle is a goal and action oriented mentoring program that uses the power of friendship to bring about positive changes in the lives of low-income families in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. FIAEP recruits and trains teams of mentor volunteers. Each mentor team makes a commitment to work with a family for one year to help them identify their strengths, set and work towards attainable goals and achieve greater independence and personal well-being. Mentor teams provide friendship, support, guidance, advocacy, tutoring and more to help the family maximize its independence and reach goals.
