HEALTH MATTERS CLINIC

Health Matters Clinic (HMC) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing health equity and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to live their healthiest life. Founded in 2020, we’ve already served more than 25,000 Angelenos through mobile health outreach, street medicine, wellness events, and mental health programs.

Our mission is rooted in Helping & Healing - breaking down barriers to care, bringing resources directly into communities, and creating safe, welcoming spaces for wellness. We serve underserved communities, individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income families, LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, veterans, and others too often left behind by traditional healthcare systems.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of HMC. More than 800 volunteers have powered our pop-up clinics, mental health workshops, and Unstoppable wellness events - making health access real for thousands each year. From direct outreach to behind-the-scenes support, our volunteers see their impact immediately in the lives of people we serve.
