The Ark

The Ark is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Elkin, North Carolina providing transitional shelter for homeless families and single women. Our mission is to empower our guests to return to permanent housing and self-sufficiency as quickly as possible. We work closely with our guests to help them become healthy, find and maintain employment, increase their education, and locate new permanent housing.
