Djoniba Centre is one of New york City's largest minority-owned dance institutions and has been the pioneer in promoting and developing ethnic & African based dance and drum programs. The centre has some of the best master instructors, dancers and rummers in the U.S. who make it easy for everyone to get the steps, lose weight have fun and learn about different cultures to the sound of live music. Djoniba Centre is also home of an intensive curiculum of dance and music for children ages 4-16 years old. The centre offers free dance and drum classes for children from low-income families through a scholarship program.
