Missão
WCI creates safe gathering places in impoverished environments that provide the resources women need to transform their lives. A Woman's Center fosters healing and growth through training and support, enabling each woman to build peace and prosperity in her life and in her community.
Sobre Nós
Since 2006, Executive Director Susan Burgess-Lent has opened four Women's Centers: two in North Darfur, Sudan; Baraka Center in Nairobi, Kenya, and Oakland Women's Center in California, USA. Two of those centers continue their growth. WCI's vision is a global network of Women's Centers serving refugee and IDP camps, urban slums, and rural towns.
