Missão
Our mission is to serve the communities of Houston, particularly refugees and immigrants, and see them progress in school, work and family. We see many refugees and immigrants find it easier to succeed with a friend helping them along the way. We feel a responsibility to provide at-risk youth and families with resources to live a productive, peaceful life. We are a faith based organization and ultimately offer the people that we work with a chance to know Jesus and dedicate their lives to God.
Sobre Nós
Our organization started from the realization that soccer can bring people from all nations and languages together. Our staff members, being refugees themselves, had a passion to serve the refugees in Houston with free soccer clubs. This gives our coaches the opportunity to create relationships with many children and youth who might be struggling in this new country. We now have 4 soccer sites and we offer tutoring services to a large African community. While most of our programs focus on the youth, we make special efforts to connect with parents and families and aid them in any way possible.
