Missão
Shelters, rescues, and finds homes for homeless animals. Advocates respect and show compassion for animal life and provide humane education to help prevent cruelty to animals.
Sobre Nós
Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) Animal Shelter & Adoption Center places thousands of animals into loving homes every year. Founded in 1972, CAP has been a part of the Greater Houston Community for over forty years and takes in cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. Our dedicated corps of volunteers helps in a wide variety of areas: introducing pets to potential adopters, walking dogs, cleaning cat kennels, doing laundry and dishes, in our low-cost vaccination clinic, assisting in our surgery clinic, helping clients in our Pet Supply Store and Thrift Store, and with education and outreach events at and outside of the shelter.
