UCANE

Established in 1954, the Utility Contractors Association of New England, Inc. (UCANE) is a nonprofit whose mission is member education, safety, and success. UCANE is comprised of over 250 major contractors and associated businesspeople who perform underground utility construction projects throughout New England.

Supporting the local agencies that have th primary responsibility for supplying clean drinking water to ciitizens; and implementing wastewater pollution control, protecting drinking water sources and recreational waterways, including harbors, bays, estuaries, rivers, and lakes.

Proposing and filing legislatio, monitoring pending legislation impacting the construction industry.

Assuring that all contractors have equal opportunity on state and local projects.
