The United States of Community Service, Inc.

The United States of Community Service, Inc. (USCS) is an organization (501c3 status pending) dedicated to empowering children to make a difference in their community, their nation, and their world by providing opportunities for children and their families to get involved in community service and working with and supporting the efforts of other non-profit and community organizations.

Last year, our first annual USCS Make a Difference Day Almost-Sleepover united more than 1,200 kids in at least 26 states supporting more than 100 charities nationwide. Finalist: 2012 National Make a Difference Day All-Star Award--online voting February 15 through 29 at www.makeadifferenceday.com! Winner receives $10,000 for charity. If we win, we'll be donating the money to a nonprofit organization supported by one of the 26 almost-sleepover events that took place in 2011.
