Missão
Learn and Serve Tampa provides K-12 youth with opportunities for meaningful community service and empowers youth to be service leaders in our community. We envision a world in which opportunities for youth service are readily available and accessible and in which all youth can demonstrate civic responsibility and leadership skills through active engagement in personally meaningful community service.
Sobre Nós
Learn and Serve Tampa, Inc. was founded by a teacher to support community service and service-learning projects driven by K-12 students and educators in the Tampa Bay area. Our goal is to create a hub for service-learning, which will provide training, mentoring, materials, and supplies, as well as assist with connections to other nonprofits, civic organizations, government agencies, and businesses. Our strategy is to create opportunities for youth to be involved in the three national Days of Service (9/11 Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Global Youth Service Day) to catalyze youth-led service in our community.
